Sunningwell is a small rural school in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside close to the city of Oxford and the town of Abingdon. We are proud of our connections to local community, including the church of St Leonard's in the village and Dalton Barracks. We are well supported by an active Parents' Association and Governing Body. 

The school has recently been extended to enable Sunningwell's Preschool to be housed within the main building. We have a well equipped playground and wildlife areas including a pond and a wooded spinney which are the focus of many science lessons.

After school clubs run every day including sports, art and IT. The school has a number of sports teams with recent successes in football, netball and rugby.
